New York Giants (2-3) at New England Patriots (5-0)
There were times when we didn’t pick the Giants to beat the Patriots and they end up winning. Well, this isn’t the game that the Giants will win. Rookie Quarterback, Daniel Jones, has played good up to this moment, but he will struggle against the vantage Patriots’ defense.
Patriots 31, Giants 13
Carolina Panthers (3-2) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-3)
When you talk about these two teams, you never know what you’re going to get. The Panthers and Buccaneers both played each other earlier on this season in Week 2 which saw the Buccaneers win the game 21-20. The only difference now is that Kyle Allen is at quarterback now and not Cam Newton. With Kyle Allen, the Panthers are 4-0 in his four starts. I think the game will be very close, but I believe the Panthers even the series 1-1 with a victory.
Panthers 24, Buccaneers 22
Cincinnati Bengals (0-5) at Baltimore Ravens (3-2)
Both teams have struggled as of late, but I’m going with the Ravens as they will get pressure on Andy Dalton early and often en route to a dominating win.
Ravens 27, Bengals 6
Houston Texans (3-2) at Kansas City Chiefs (4-1)
This game has high scoring written all over it. Both teams will go back and forth, but I’m going to go with Texans for the surprise victory as the Texans defense has a better chance as slowing down Mahomes and co then the Chiefs does slowing down Deshaun Watson.
Texans 45, Chiefs 41
Seattle Seahawks (4-1) at Cleveland Browns (2-3)
The Browns have not been playing their best ball, but they will try to get back on track as they take on the Seattle Seahawks. If Seattle is able to get pressure on Baker Mayfield, then I expect it will a long day for the second year quarterback. Russell Wilson has been a playing like MVP candidate so far of this season and I believe he will continue to play like one as he will torch the Browns defense.
Seahawks 27, Browns 21
New Orleans Saints (4-1) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-3)
Teddy Bridgewater look to finally found his groove as the Saints travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. If Bridgewater continue to play better and improve, I think the Saints offense will have a good day against the Jaguars’ defense that is still without All-Pro Cornerback, Jalen Ramsey. Although Minshew Magic is other team, I think the Saints defense will do enough to slow down Minshew en route to a win.
Saints 31, Jaguars 27
Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) at Minnesota Vikings (3-2)
We all know the saying. Kirk Cousins does not play well against teams with winning records. Although that is true, I’m rolling with the Eagles who suddenly have a running game to go with their passing attack. I think the Eagles defense frustrate Cousins as they take the victory here.
Eagles 34, Vikings 21
Washington Redskins (0-5) at Miami Dolphins (0-4)
The battle of two winless teams takes place as the Washington Redskins travel to Miami to face the Dolphins. The winner of this game get their first win of the season while the loser of this game hold on to the one spot in next year draft. This will be the first game for the Redskins without former head coach, Jay Gruden, who fired early Monday morning. Both teams are awful, but I’m going to go with the Redskins here to pick up the victory.
Redskins 23, Dolphins 20
Atlanta Falcons (1-4) at Arizona Cardinals
Speaking of teams that look bad this year, the (1-4) Atlanta Falcons take on the the (1-3-1) Arizona Cardinals. The Falcons have the talent to win to this game, but will they come to play. Meanwhile, rookie quarterback Kyler Murray had played so-so to start the season, but he did play good against the Bengals last week as the Cardinals picked up their first win. I think the Cardinals find a way to stay in the game and get a victory here against the Falcons.
Cardinals 27, Falcons 24
San Francisco 49ers (4-0) at Los Angeles Rams (3-2)
Two divisional rivals face off as the undefeated San Francisco 49ers take on the 3-2 Los Angeles Rams. Both defense can cause a lot of problems, but I believe the 49ers defense will pressure Rams’ Quarterback Jared Goff more and force him into turning the ball over more. I think the 49ers sneak out the victory here.
49ers 34, Rams 31
Dallas Cowboys (3-2) at New York Jets (0-4)
The Cowboys look to get off their two game losing skid as they face the winless New York Jets who look to be getting quarterback Sam Darnold back. Getting Darnold back doesn’t mean the Jets will win the game. Look for Dak and Amari to have a big day en route to a Cowboys win.
Cowboys 34, Jets 17
Tennessee Titans (2-3) at Denver Broncos (1-4)
The Tennessee Titans head to Denver to face the (1-4) Broncos who got their first of the season last week against the L.A Chargers. Honesty, the game can go either way because you don’t know who will show up to play for each team. I’m going to go with the Titans as I feel the defense will slow down Phillip Linsday and make Joe Flacco turn over the ball.
Titans 24, Broncos 20
Pittsburgh Steelers (1-4) at Los Angeles Chargers (2-3)
The Steelers are now down to Quarterback #3 in Delvin Hodges as Mason Rudolph is still in concussion protocol. Although the Chargers are still missing a key ton of players, I think they get the job done here as they win the game.
Chargers 21, Steelers 10
Detroit Lions (2-1-1) at Green Bay Packers (4-1)
The Lions has played better than I thought they would have up to the point and they continue to try and play well as they take on the Green Bay Packers. Aaron Rodgers has always played well against the Lions every time the teams met. This game might be close, but I believe in the Packers more the Lions so I’m rolling with the Packers here.
Packers 27, Lions 20
